The Silk Factory Cafe specializes in local ingredients and fresh baked goods, and it’s one of my favorite places to visit when I need to get away from city life. In addition to their breakfast and lunch items, they also offer a full bar with creatively designed flights of mimosas and Bloody Marys, making it an ideal weekend getaway, no matter what. the time of year you decide to travel to the Hudson Valley.
The Silk Factory is a welcoming cafe located on the first floor of the former Silk Factory building (now the Hudson Valley Arts Live venue), where you can enjoy a cup of freshly brewed coffee, lattes, espresso, cappuccinos, tea and just about anything else you might be in the mood for. In addition to caffeine and cold drinks, they also serve fresh pastries and small bites such as local bagels. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great place to go with friends or sit alone with your thoughts. The modern rustic interior is comprised of a carefully curated collection of artwork, furniture and artifacts that create perfect Instagrammable moments wherever you turn your camera, for all influencers.
The staff is super friendly and ready to help. The location is quiet, scenic, and perfect for a weekend getaway in New York. In addition to its unique decor, Silk Factory Cafe serves absolutely delicious food. I highly recommend you try their avocado toast; which turned out to be unlike any other I’ve had (in a good way!). My meal was perfect, very fresh and full of flavor.
