Rockwell plans arts and crafts exhibit at American Legion – Reuters

ROCKWELL – COVID-19 has slowed down festivals and events, but now is the time for Rockwell to host a community event.

Show organizer Linda Burleyson is planning the Rockwell Art, Crafts and Show at the American Legion on Nov. 19 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The city is a sponsor and invites the public to attend the small business presentation.

More sponsors are needed to make the event a success.

The American Legion is off US 52 at the north end of Rockwell. It will be signaled by event banners. The show will feature Santa Claus for photo options and a Santa Claus scavenger hunt.

Sellers have already signed up for the interior and more are encouraged to use holiday themes and decorate for the holidays. Vendors may have more outdoor space and food trucks are welcome to register.

The event operates as a fundraiser. It will be free for participants and there will be a draw during the day. Proceeds will help families in need for Christmas and donations will go to the four churches in town.
